Preparing My Body For IVF

Salam semua,

Hari ni nak cerita pasal kertas ni.



Memang tak menarik sebab tulisan hitam, kertas putih je. Tapi dah agak lama dia terlekat kat pintu peti ais saya.

Motifnya, supaya setiap kali nak membuka pintu peti ais tu saya akan baca dan sedar apa persediaan yang saya perlu lakukan. Kalau tak bukak pintu peti pun, at least bila masuk dapur, lalu depan peti tu dapat jugak la jeling-jeling, kan?

Persediaan ni ada 3 bahagian yang penting iaitu:

1. Nutritional
2. Physical
3. Mental

Nutritional

1. Drinks at least 2 liters of water everyday.
(InsyaAllah cukup or maybe lebih kot? Sebab saya memang suka minum air kosong.)

2. Avoid chocolate, processed foods, foods with high sugar content.
(Coklat adalah faberet! Tapi terpaksa dikurangkan jugak. Hm, makanan segera pun dah dikurangkan, terutama sejak kena food poisoning dulu, terus tak lalu burger fast food. Bagus kan?)

3. Eat at least 60 mg of protein (meat, fish)
(Kena makan banyak lauk, kurangkan nasi taau karbohidrat. Ayoo, kena start semula la ni!)

4. Reduce / cut out caffeine (tea, coffee)
(Sedang dicuba, so far berjaya jugak la. He5.)

Physical

1. Ideal weight. Light exercise & yoga. Avoid aerobics.
(Rasa macam ideal lagi, tapi bila naik scale tu nape jarum dia cam ke kanan jek?)

2. Avoid  cigarette & smoky atmospheres (chemicals in cigarette smoke can affect the lining of your uterus)
(Perkara pertama yang perlu buat adalah AVOID smokers! Run, run for my lifeeee!!)

3. Avoid sitting for long periods in the same position as this can restrict blood flow.
(Ini yang susah sikit ni, saya kalau dah ralit buat sesuatu tu, rasa badan dah lenguh baru nak bangun. Huh! Please advise!)

4. If you work on the computer all day, make sure you get up once in a while and walk around.
(Sama cam kat atas, I will try! or MUST try!)

5. Avoid sun bathing, Jacuzzi and hot bath.
(Air suam2 kuku dari water heater diambil kira tak?)

Mental

1. You must give yourself enough time to relax and recover from each cycle of treatment.
(Sebab tu saya dah submit borang cuti panjang minggu lepas. I just want to relax.)

2. If you try and live your life just as you did before you were having IVF, you will run into problems.
(Hubby said, no more shopping sebab shopping involve with lots of walking. Huh??)

3. Don't forget to spend time with your partner and communicate with him.
(Mesti! Dean Ringgo mesti peluk saya all the time! Ha5.)

4. You both will talk about the IVF and your experiences, but also to focus on other things, the things you enjoy doing together.
(Of course la, pastu masing-masing berangan.. anak ikut muka dia lagi hensem, ikut muka saya lagi cantik. Hahaha!)
